Montana Sauvignon Blanc 2004
Made by Montana in New Zealand (region: Marlborough)
.
A dry, still, white wine with 12.5% alcohol tasted on 31st Jan 2005.
Grape: Sauvignon Blanc
Quality: Okay
Value: Okay
Cost: Usually between $12.99 - $16.98.
Looks: Light green, and light looking!
Smells: Fresh, grassy, some of the passionfruit nose of Sauvignon peaking out.
Feels: Light
Tastes: Quite a solid line of non descript acid - ie no flavour in it other than acid! Some grassy passionfruit notes hidden underneath, with a medium length.
Quite enjoyable, but not too much flavour going on.
Possible retailers: Vintage Cellars, Theo's, BWS, Woolworths Liquor, Liquorland, Dan Murphy's, First Estate.
