Hoddles Creek Pinot Noir 2010
Made by Hodd in Australia (region: Yarra Valley)
.
A dry, still, red wine with 13.2% alcohol tasted on 20th Jul 2011.
Grape: Pinot Noir
Quality: Good
Value: Okay
Looks: Lightly crimson in colour
Smells: Strawberry toned nose, hint of smoke
Feels: Light to medium
Tastes: Good acid and fruit depth, nice smoky tinge and nice tannin. Not awe inspiring, but wonderful value and easy drinking with complexity - if there is such a thing
Possible retailers: Cellar Door / Web Site, Winestar.
