Quality: Good

Value: Ouch!

Cost: Usually between $49.99 - $59.99.

Looks: Deep red with amber edges. Medium bodied.

Smells: Although a little closed, even after decanting, there were some treacle and stewed cherries with darker truffle tones.

Feels: Quite fuller than it looks.

Tastes: Stewed plums, a hint of dark truffles and dry chocolate on the palate. Quite a nice balance of flavours, and then...it simply evaporates straight away, leaving almost no length of flavour at all. A great tasting wine with no length - a real poser to rate!
