A dry, still, white wine with 12% alcohol tasted on 6th Nov 2004.
Grape: Clairette
Quality: Good
Value: Okay
Cost: Usually between $20.00 - $24.00.
Looks: Pale pale straw green and light.
Smells: Restrained floral scents with a tinge of fresh capsicum and light lemon.
Feels: Light body, but nicely coating.
Tastes: Good balance of sharpish lemon acid and some green vegetal flavours. Fair length. A really nice change of pace to other white wines, and a nice one for a hot afternoon.
