Tamburlaine Orange Reserve Member's Syrah 2002
Made by Tamburlaine in Australia (region: Orange)
.
A dry, still, red wine with 14% alcohol tasted on 7th Nov 2004.
Grape: Shiraz
Quality: Good
Value: Okay
Cost: Usually between $24.00 - $28.00.
Looks: Ruby purple...if there is such a colour! A nice solid look to it without being too heavy.
Smells: Strong mix of red and black berries, with a hint of pepper and coffee.
Feels: Solid and coating.
Tastes: Tasty red and black fruit, with a nice line of wood. Excellent length, good flavour, not as restrained as you would expect for a cool climate wine.
Possible retailers: Cellar Door / Web Site.
