Geoff Merrill Grenache Rose 2005
Made by Geoff Merrill in Australia (region: McLaren Vale)
.
A dry, still, rosé wine with 14.5% alchohol tasted on 25th Dec 2007.
Grape: Grenache
Quality: Unpleasant
Value: Ouch!
Cost: Usually between $14.99 - $16.99.
Looks: Very light ruddy pink orange colour. Light in body
Smells: Strawberry and sulphur
Feels: Light
Tastes: This was a bit of a dud. Strawberry dominant, a little raspberry, but dirty and sulphurous with a real off lemon after taste. I did not finish this.
Possible retailers: Liquorland, 1st Choice.
