.
A dry, sparkling, white wine with 12% alchohol tasted on 31st Dec 2007.
Grape: Chardonnay Pinot Noir Pinot Meunier
Quality: Outstanding
Value: Ouch!
Cost: Usually between $89.99 - $99.99.
Looks: Very pale and clear - light looking but with a very tight small bubble
Smells: Lean - almost grapefruity - with slight biscuit and mineral
Feels: Light - solid abrasive bubble that zings rather than foams in the mouth
Tastes: Phew, what a find! Very Krug-like in style - minerally, tight and lean, with grapefruit freshness and a real length to it. Style, class and masculine!
