Jasper Hill Georgia's Paddock Riesling 2003
Made by Jasper Hill in Australia (region: Heathcote)
.
A dry, still, white wine with 13% alchohol tasted on 27th Dec 2007.
Grape: Riesling
Quality: Very Good
Value: Okay
Cost: Usually between $29.99 - $34.99.
Looks: Very light body and a green edged glow to the colour
Smells: Talcum powder, minerals, jasmine
Feels: Light
Tastes: Seems to be aging very fast, so perhaps a drink now prospect. Fruit is lemony with a lemon rind edge, but the wine is mostly floral - jasmine and minerally - with a hint of petrol. A powdery finish and texture. Enjoyable.
Possible retailers: Vintage Cellars.
