McWilliam's Inheritance Riesling 2003
Made by McWilliam's in Australia.
A dry, still, white wine with 12.5% alcohol tasted on 25th Nov 2004.
Grape: Riesling
Quality: Okay
Value: Good
Cost: Usually between $5.99 - $7.99.
Looks: Bright, light yellow with green edges.
Smells: Powerful fruit, tropical and melon flavours.
Feels: Light in body.
Tastes: Let's call this a very "Aussie" style of Riesling - upfront ripe melon fruit gives way to a nice line of nondescript acid giving nice length. A nice simple style, and at this price, incredible!
Possible retailers: Theo's, BWS, Woolworths Liquor, Liquorland.
