Peter Lehmann Semillon 2005
Made by Peter Lehmann in Australia (region: Barossa Valley)
.
A dry, still, white wine with 11.5% alchohol tasted on 18th Jan 2008.
Grape: Semillon
Quality: Good
Value: Good
Cost: Usually between $8.99 - $12.99.
Looks: Clear and bright, with a very slight gold hint and light - but not watery
Smells: Hints of lemon and apple and hay
Feels: Light
Tastes: Such a star this wine. For the money you cannot beat it. Easy drinker, with moderate lemon and apple fruit - this is not a fruit forward wine - and some hay and grass like complexity. Length is fair. This wine will go with almost any food and has a complete inability to offend anyone.
