Looks: Very black and heavy in the glass

Smells: Ripe fruit and choc

Feels: Heavy

Tastes: I liked the older labal better than this one. The old one had a nicer sword. But anyway, onto the wine. Black, dark, brooding and a little closed really, but a bit of time in the glass and it opens up. Ripe plum and dark cherry fruit with a hint of raison, with round choc tones and a coating mouthfeel. It ends up a little shorter than you expect. Nice wine that is not quite complex enough for higher praise.
