Old Mill Estate Cabernet Sauvignon

Old Mill Estate Cabernet Sauvignon 2004

Made by Old Mill Estate in Australia (region: Langhorne Creek) .

A dry, still, red wine with 14.5% alchohol tasted on 13th Feb 2008.

Grape: Cabernet Sauvignon

Quality: Very Good

Value: Good

Cost: Usually between $20.00 - $24.00.

Looks: Dark red colour with a medium to full body

Smells: Complex - black fruit, briar, licorice, spice

Feels: Medium to full bodied

Tastes: Well well, what have we here? This is a lovely lovely drop that unfolds and reveals over the time you drink it. The fruit is there but is not in your face - black berry and briar, with some earthy tannins. Good dusty spice carrying the length and a chewy, meaty finish. A real wine to ponder and enjoy.

Possible retailers: Squashedgrape.
