De Iulius Show Reserve Shiraz 2006
Made by De Iulius in Australia (region: Hunter Valley)
.
A dry, still, red wine with 14% alchohol tasted on 19th Feb 2008.
Grape: Shiraz
Quality: Good
Value: Above Average
Cost: Usually between $19.99 - $19.99.
Looks: Nce red glow, but still quite see through and light to medium in body
Smells: Red fruits and earth
Feels: Light to medium at most
Tastes: Hunter to the core. Dry earth tones with a grainy gritty tannin that is really quite lovely. It gives way to a real dusty finish with some yound vibrant acids giving the length. Far better than I expected.
Possible retailers: Cellar Door.
