Quality: Good

Value: A Little Excessive

Cost: Usually between $30.00 - $30.00.

Looks: Purple red colour with a medium body

Smells: Black berry and earthy tones

Feels: Medium bodied

Tastes: I really wish more Cabernet was persisted with in the best sites in the Hunter - because that earthy grainy style is something to be explored and perfected more in my book. This is a decent example - good black fruit with a hint of licorice and long, lean earthy tones. Tannins are velvety rough and chewy. There is a slight green edge to it, but it is not unpleasant.
