Meerea Park 'Epoch' Semillon 2007
Made by Meerea Park in Australia (region: Hunter Valley)
.
A dry, still, white wine with 11% alchohol tasted on 10th Mar 2008.
Grape: Semillon
Quality: Very Good
Value: Good
Cost: Usually between $20.00 - $20.00.
Looks: Clear and bright and light looking
Smells: Lemon citrus
Feels: Light
Tastes: Wham! The acidity rips into you with this one in a way that instantly brings a smile to your face and the need for well steamed white fish to your mind. Massive power and length and a ripping lemon / lime acidity that tears down the middle of your tongue. Watch this space - this wine could really go majorly gonzo with age.
Possible retailers: Cellar Door.
