Glenguin Estate School House Black Shiraz 2005
Made by Glenguin Estate in Australia (region: Hunter Valley)
.
A dry, still, red wine with 14.5% alchohol tasted on 16th Mar 2008.
Grape: Shiraz
Quality: Good
Value: A Little Excessive
Cost: Usually between $35.00 - $35.00.
Looks: Quite dark and full bodied
Smells: Ripe round fruit
Feels: Full bodied
Tastes: Bursts out of the gate with ripe red cherry fruit and plums - gives way to a gritty earthy tannin finish that is a little too short. Slightly over ripe maybe - a bit curranty - but still easy to drink and a great filling mouthfeel.
Possible retailers: Cellar Door.
