The Grapes Of Ross Moscato 2006
Made by The Grapes Of Ross in Australia (region: Barossa Valley)
.
A Off-Dry, spritz, white wine with 8.5% alchohol tasted on 31st Mar 2008.
Grape: Muscat
Quality: Okay
Value: Okay
Cost: Usually between $18.00 - $20.00.
Looks: Slight spritzy bubble apparent with a pale green/gold colour. Very light
Smells: Grapey - with a fresh zesty odour
Feels: Light with a zingy little prickle across the tongue
Tastes: A nice grapey sweetness that is underpinned by a green unripe line through the centre - not really sure about it at first, but I got used to it. The sweetness was a little "cane sugary" for my taste by the end of the second glass. Nonetheless, quaffable and enjoyable - and there will be some who adore it.
Possible retailers: Squashedgrape.
