Tamburlaine Member's Reserve Merlot 2006
Made by Tamburlaine in Australia (region: Orange)
.
A dry, still, red wine with 14.8% alchohol tasted on 10th Apr 2008.
Grape: Merlot
Quality: Good
Value: Okay
Cost: Usually between $19.99 - $28.99.
Looks: Dark red, quite see through - with a medium to full body
Smells: Red berry juice
Feels: Medium to full bodied
Tastes: Again, such a drinkable wine from Tamburlaine. Tannins are very soft, and the red berry fruit is ripe and full and balanced very well with the acidity. Length is very long - it certainly does not taste like most Aussie Merlot from that regard! I would definitely drink this out of choice.
Possible retailers: Cellar Door.
