Barokes Bubbly Wine Bin 382 Rose NA
Made by Barokes in Australia.
A dry, still, rosé wine with 13% alchohol tasted on 3rd May 2008.
Quality: Okay
Value: Good
Cost: Usually between $4.00 - $6.00.
Looks: Deepish salmon colour - not especially bright, but certainly not unpleasant looking with a large bubble that is constant
Smells: Light lolly raspberry odour
Feels: Light with a large bursting bubble
Tastes: The Barokes range starts to get intersting here for mine. This wine is incredibly dry, but with a real raspberry lolly start to it that meshes easily with the slightly savoury tones that follow. Good length and 'meat' to the mid palate. I could drink quite a bit of this very happily.
