A dry, sparkling, red wine with 13% alchohol tasted on 3rd May 2008.

Grape: Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot Shiraz

Quality: Okay

Value: Good

Cost: Usually between $4.00 - $6.00.

Looks: Bright red in colour with a fairly deep hue - largish bubble that is fairly constant

Smells: Deepish lolly cherry tone

Feels: Light, but with good bursting bubble

Tastes: Although the fruit tone is fairly lolly like with its cherry tone, it gives way quickly to more interesting spice and savoury tones, and even some meaty flavour. Good length and incredibly dry finish. My head keeps getting fooled into thinking I will taste something awful and sugary from these cans - I am happy to say it does not happen.
