Barokes Wine Bin 121 Cabernet Shiraz Merlot NA
Made by Barokes in Australia.
A dry, still, red wine with 13% alchohol tasted on 3rd May 2008.
Grape: Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot Shiraz
Quality: Okay
Value: Good
Cost: Usually between $4.00 - $6.00.
Looks: Not the brightest red, but still quite a good deep red with a medium body
Smells: Raspberry and cherry fruit - almost lolly like but not quite
Feels: Medium
Tastes: What a surprise. this wine easily complete with sub - $15 wine in a bottle. Lovely fresh berry fruit tones, verging on lolly, but giving way to savoury and a real dry tone. Good finish, good soft easy drinking tannin structure - good drinking!
