Looks: Good black dark colour, with a full body

Smells: Dark fruits and a hint of spice

Feels: Full bodied

Tastes: This is a consistent performer. And this vintage is a very good one! Dark berry and blackcurrant fruit fleshed out with dry spice tones and a slightly leafy length. Tannins are grainy and chewy - very nice texture. There are a lot of good wines on Cape Mentelle's list - this is one of the most widely available, and luckily - it is a gooden!
