Tamburlaine Orange Reserve Member's Syrah 2006
Made by Tamburlaine in Australia (region: Orange)
.
A dry, still, red wine with 15.3% alchohol tasted on 7th May 2008.
Grape: Shiraz
Quality: Okay
Value: Very Good
Cost: Usually between $22.99 - $29.99.
Looks: Dark red colour, with a very full look to it
Smells: Ripe and round red fruits
Feels: Full bodied
Tastes: This is the Tamburlaine wine I look forward to each year, and this one does not disappoint. Really full on style though, even though this is cool climate shiraz. Ripe full red fruits, with a hint of heat on the finish. Pepper and length are nice, and the tannins are extremely soft. Gorgeous wine - although not sure what will happen with age. I would drink now, just in case!
Possible retailers: Cellar Door.
