Tamburlaine Orange Reserve Member's Cabernet Sauvignon 2006
Made by Tamburlaine in Australia (region: Orange)
.
A dry, still, red wine with 15.7% alchohol tasted on 30th May 2008.
Grape: Cabernet Sauvignon
Quality: Okay
Value: A Little Excessive
Cost: Usually between $29.99 - $35.99.
Looks: Black and red and heavy all over
Smells: Ripe black fruit - almost cooked
Feels: Heavy
Tastes: Yet another Tamburlaine and yet another ripe overly fruity wine. Not undrinkable by any token, but young, fiery and very hot on the finish. Tannins are very soft, so you are left with rich ripe cooked fruit - which does not make it interesting enough at this price point.
Possible retailers: Cellar Door.
