Grosset Polish Hill Riesling 2007
Made by Grosset in Australia (region: Clare Valley)
.
A dry, still, white wine with 13% alchohol tasted on 7th Jun 2008.
Grape: Riesling
Quality: Outstanding
Value: Okay
Cost: Usually between $45.00 - $55.00.
Looks: Clear and bright and light looking in body, but with almost a bluish tinge in colour
Smells: Tight and zippy freshness
Feels: Light
Tastes: What a wine. This is superb. Lemon, lime, minerals, grapefruit, mandarins and rind - all rolled up into a complex piercing and intensely long drop. This will age beautifully for sure, even though it is so lovely now.
Possible retailers: Vintage Cellars, Cellar Door, Dan Murphy's, Kemeny's, Winestar.
