Seppelt Jaluka Victoria Chardonnay 2003
Made by Seppelt in Australia.
A dry, still, white wine with 13.5% alcohol tasted on 11th Jan 2005.
Grape: Chardonnay
Quality: Below Par
Value: Ouch!
Cost: Usually between $24.99 - $29.99.
Looks: Heavy and yellow!
Smells: Heavy vanillan wood and slight peach.
Feels: Have I said the word heavy enough?
Tastes: Wood, wood and more wood. But not a nice vanillan flavoured wood. This is all a bit on the charcoal side. Smokey, with a hot finish and no real fruit flavour to speak of. Just not a wine that comes together at all.
Possible retailers: Vintage Cellars, Theo's, First Estate, Kemeny's.
