Wyndham Estate Show Reserve Semillon 2000
Made by Wyndham Estate in Australia (region: Hunter Valley)
.
A dry, still, white wine with 10.5% alcohol tasted on 8th Jan 2005.
Grape: Semillon
Quality: Good
Value: Okay
Cost: Usually between $22.99 - $26.00.
Looks: Light, with a golden tone.
Smells: Lifted lemon and mardarin nose.
Feels: Light.
Tastes: Good apple and oranges acid bringing a nice lift to the wine. Developing some slight honey and toast tones. Seems to really be built for the long haul, and should just keep developing buttery toasty characters.
Possible retailers: Cellar Door / Web Site, Hunter Valley Wine Society.
