Greedy Sheep Cabernet Merlot 2007
Made by Greedy Sheep in Australia (region: Margaret River)
.
A dry, still, red wine with 14.3% alcohol tasted on 13th Feb 2009.
Grape: Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot
Quality: Very Good
Value: Good
Cost: Usually between $20.00 - $20.00.
Looks: Black purple coloured wine with a medium looking body
Smells: Blackcurrant and a little spice
Feels: Medium bodied
Tastes: This wine surprised me no end, in a good way! What a ripper. Fine grained tannins that build to a lovely chewy texture, lovely black cabernet fruit with no real greenness at all. Long, hanging finish and a meaty centre. Great wine.
Possible retailers: Cellar Door / Web Site.
