Greedy Sheep Rosé 2008
Made by Greedy Sheep in Australia (region: Margaret River)
.
A dry, still, rosé wine with 13.5% alcohol tasted on 14th Feb 2009.
Quality: Very Good
Value: Good
Cost: Usually between $19.00 - $19.00.
Looks: Bright crimson colour, fairly glows!
Smells: Lolly-like raspberry tones
Feels: Light
Tastes: This might be a simple wine in many ways, but it is so seductive. Raspberries with a nice line of acidic raspberry juice as its spine, but the dominating flavour is certainly juicy raspberry berry. Length for a pink wine is pretty good too. I think this is a class act.
Possible retailers: Cellar Door / Web Site.
