Vasse Felix Chardonnay 2008
Made by Vasse Felix in Australia (region: Margaret River)
.
A dry, still, white wine with 12.5% alcohol tasted on 10th May 2009.
Grape: Chardonnay
Quality: Good
Value: Okay
Cost: Usually between $17.99 - $28.99.
Looks: Bright with a pale gold colour and light body
Smells: Melon and a hint of straw
Feels: Light
Tastes: Although retaining that classic Margaret River richness in the mouthfeel and flavour, this is a really light wine. Easy to drink, and not cloying it is restrained, fair finish and good melon fruit. Not complex by any means.
Possible retailers: Vintage Cellars, Dan Murphy's, Kemeny's, Winestar, 1st Choice.
