Molly Morgan Semillon 2008
Made by Molly Morgan in Australia (region: Hunter Valley)
.
A dry, still, white wine with 11.4% alcohol tasted on 12th May 2009.
Grape: Semillon
Quality: Okay
Value: Okay
Cost: Usually between $20.00 - $20.00.
Looks: Very pale gold colour, with a light body
Smells: Light grassy smell - very ripe apples
Feels: Light
Tastes: A young yet approachable semillon that lets a ripe apple flavour do the talking over grass and hay flavours. Finish is fair. A perfect BBQ white wine that will bridge the gap between those who like dry wine and those who drink pink fruit flavoured concoctions. Price to quality ratio stacks up!
Possible retailers: Cellar Door / Web Site.
