Queen Adelaide Merlot 2007
Made by Woodley Wines in Australia.
A dry, still, red wine with 13.5% alcohol tasted on 6th Jul 2009.
Grape: Merlot
Quality: Okay
Value: Good
Cost: Usually between $6.60 - $11.99.
Looks: Murky crimson colour, more red than black. Medium looking.
Smells: Red berry, slightly cooked, but no cheap wine odours
Feels: Medium bodied
Tastes: Very surprising to say the least, but this is very quaffable. Bright fruit flavours, nice and clean tasting. No cheap wine odours or flavours. It also has a little bit of length as well! A good product all in all.
