Tamburlaine Orange Reserve Member's Sauvignon Blanc 2008
Made by Tamburlaine in Australia (region: Orange)
.
A dry, still, white wine with 12.6% alcohol tasted on 14th Jul 2009.
Grape: Sauvignon Blanc
Quality: Okay
Value: A Little Excessive
Cost: Usually between $18.99 - $22.99.
Looks: Light looking and a very watery pale gold colour
Smells: Quite closed actually for Sauvignon, but some kiwi fruit and gooseberry on the nose with some green
Feels: Light
Tastes: The nice thing about this wine is that there are green notes, but it does not taste like grass. More like kiwi, gooseberry and passionfruit that it slightly underripe. Finishes a little short, and is easy to drink. Fair wine.
Possible retailers: Cellar Door / Web Site.
