Tamburlaine Hunter Reserve Member's Semillon 2008
Made by Tamburlaine in Australia (region: Hunter Valley)
.
A dry, still, white wine with 10.5% alcohol tasted on 6th Sep 2009.
Grape: Semillon
Quality: Good
Value: Okay
Cost: Usually between $19.99 - $26.99.
Looks: Very light and clear looking wine
Smells: Off ripe apples
Feels: Light
Tastes: This is a decent Semillon, very light in body and alcohol, with a decent green apple acidity. It is not a world beater - it is pretty simple all in all. But it is a good solid wine, perhaps a little short on length.
Possible retailers: Cellar Door / Web Site.
