The Wilson Vineyard DJW Riesling 2009
Made by The Wilson Vineyard in Australia (region: Clare Valley)
.
A dry, still, white wine with 12.5% alcohol tasted on 23rd Oct 2009.
Grape: Riesling
Quality: Good
Value: Above Average
Cost: Usually between $18.99 - $20.00.
Looks: Pale, light wine. Slight flashes of green
Smells: Off-ripe lemon and talcum powder
Feels: Light
Tastes: Burst of lemon/lime flavour and a hint of flint giving way to a solid talcum powder tone. The finish is citrus and probably more limey than the start of the wine. A very promising Riesling.
Possible retailers: Cellar Door / Web Site.
