The Wilson Vineyard Polish Hill River Riesling

The Wilson Vineyard Polish Hill River Riesling 2009

Made by The Wilson Vineyard in Australia (region: Clare Valley) .

A dry, still, white wine with 12.5% alcohol tasted on 22nd Oct 2009.

Grape: Riesling

Quality: Very Good

Value: Above Average

Cost: Usually between $21.95 - $24.95.

Looks: Pale, light wine with a slight blue/green tinge

Smells: Limey nose, with a hint of wet stone

Feels: Light

Tastes: Tasty wine. Good zippy limey acidity, a nice flinty/stoney centre and some nice herby tones on the lime juice finish. Good length. This is a lovely wine, and a very versatile wine as well - eat anything you want with this!

Possible retailers: Cellar Door / Web Site.
