The Wilson Vineyard Pepperstone Shiraz 2006
Made by The Wilson Vineyard in Australia (region: Clare Valley)
.
A dry, still, red wine with 14.5% alcohol tasted on 20th Oct 2009.
Grape: Shiraz
Quality: Very Good
Value: Above Average
Cost: Usually between $21.95 - $24.95.
Looks: Good black, purple colour with a full body
Smells: Good licorice tones, red and black fruits
Feels: Full bodied
Tastes: Ahhh, Clare Shiraz made with style. Enters the mouth with a full block of flavour in true Clare style, red fruits and black cherry tones, lashes of licorice and background mocha tones. Length is good and tannins are chewy and firm. For the money - great wine.
