Mother Of Pearl Sauvignon Blanc 2009
Made by Patrick T Wines in Australia (region: Coonawarra)
.
A dry, still, white wine with 11.5% alcohol tasted on 6th Nov 2009.
Grape: Sauvignon Blanc
Quality: Okay
Value: Okay
Cost: Usually between $13.99 - $15.99.
Looks: Very clear and light looking
Smells: Green, undergrowth and fresh asparagus
Feels: Light
Tastes: Green grass, green capsicum and fresh green asparagus all abound here. So, is this wine too green? Perhaps, but somehow I find that better than overly sugared Savvy's. It still has balance and grip from its acid - a nice food wine - and decent length for this styl as well.
Possible retailers: Cellar Door / Web Site.
