Kirrihill Barton Springs Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc 2009
Made by Kirrihill Wines in Australia (region: Adelaide Hills)
.
A dry, still, white wine with 13.5% alcohol tasted on 24th Dec 2009.
Grape: Sauvignon Blanc
Quality: Okay
Value: Okay
Cost: Usually between $19.95 - $19.95.
Looks: Clear, light, and slightly more golden coloured than a lot of Sauvignon Blanc
Smells: Green
Feels: Light
Tastes: Quite a hard textured, green wine. More acidic and tight than floral and fruity, this is a food wine for sure. Still, easy drinking and although harsh, still has character.
Possible retailers: Cellar Door / Web Site.
